What Did 2PM Reveal?

On March 18, 2PM released a teaser for the upcoming third version of their light stick, with the video revealing the design for the new and improved version that was set to go on sale online on March 19 at 2 PM KST.

The reveal video immediately got HOTTESTs across the globe hyped — because a light stick upgrade from 2PM isn’t just a product launch. It signals activity, it signals concerts, and it signals that the group continues to invest in their fandom experience in a meaningful way.

This is especially significant given that 2PM is one of the longest-running groups in K-pop history under JYP Entertainment, having debuted in 2008 and built one of the most loyal fandoms the industry has ever seen.

Why This Matters for HOTTESTs

Light sticks in K-pop are never just accessories. They’re identity. They’re community. When you hold up a light stick at a 2PM concert, you’re part of a sea of HOTTESTs creating something visual and emotional together. A new version means new memories, new concerts, and a refreshed connection between the group and their fans.

The timing of this release — with K-pop groups across the board upgrading their fan merchandise — shows 2PM is keeping pace with the evolving fandom experience that fans in 2026 expect.
