Intel 13th Gen Raptor Lake non-K Variant CPUs appear in new leaked Benchmarks

In the last several weeks, benchmarks for all of Intel’s 13th Gen Non-K CPUs—including the Core i9-13900, Core i7-13700, Core i5-13600, Core i5-13500, and i5-13400—have been leaked. Chi11eddog, who has a spotless record when it comes to the most recent leaks, released the benchmarks.

Performance information for Intel’s 13th generation Core i9-13900, Core i7-13700, Core i5-13600, Core i5-13500, and Core i5-13400 CPUs is included in the most recent leak. Although the test platform and specifications were left out, they are most likely retail chips that will be available alongside the B760 motherboards starting on January 3.

The Intel Core i9-13900 CPU will have 24 cores and 32 threads, and it will run at a base frequency of 3.0 GHz and a maximum boost frequency of 5.8 GHz. It will also have 68.0 MB of cache. The Core i7-13700 has 16 cores, 24 threads, 54 MB of cache, and 2.1 GHz base / 5.2 GHz boost clock speeds.

The following three 13th generation Intel Core i5 Non-K CPUs are the Core i5-13600, which has 14 cores and 20 threads, the Core i5-13500, which has 14 cores and 20 threads, and the Core i5-13400, which has 10 cores and 16 threads. The Core i5-13600 will run at a base clock speed of 2.7 GHz and a boost clock speed of 5.0 GHz, the Core i5-13500 at a base clock speed of 2.5 GHz and a boost speed of 4.8 GHz, and the Core i5-13400 at a base clock speed of 2.5 GHz and a peak speed of 4.6 GHz. All chips will have various PL2 ratings and a standard 65W (PL1) TDP.

When it comes to performance, the Core i9-13900 from Intel’s 13th generation Non-K CPUs outperforms its predecessor by a margin of up to 10%, while the Core i5-13500 sees the least improvement. The Intel Core i5-13500 manages to get the largest multi-threaded performance improvement of 64%, while the Core i5-13400 achieves a modest but still considerable performance boost of 28%.

Cinebench R23 Single-Threaded:

  • Core i9-13900 vs Core i9-12900 = +10% Faster
  • Core i7-13700 vs Core i7-12700 = +6% Faster
  • Core i5-13600 vs Core i5-12600 = +4% Faster
  • Core i5-13500 vs Core i5-12500 = +3% Faster
  • Core i5-13400 vs Core i5-12400 = +6% Faster

Cinebench R23 Multi-Threaded:

  • Core i9-13900 vs Core i9-12900 = +53% Faster
  • Core i7-13700 vs Core i7-12700 = +34% Faster
  • Core i5-13600 vs Core i5-12600 = +59% Faster
  • Core i5-13500 vs Core i5-12500 = +64% Faster
  • Core i5-13400 vs Core i5-12400 = +28% Faster

Although the generational single-threaded rise is somewhat anticipated, we will still experience some improvements as opposed to none at all. However, Intel extends its advantage in multi-threading with significant double-digit performance gains. This will severely hurt AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 7000 platform unless AMD raises pricing significantly.
