Raphinha to make final transfer decision in next 48 hours

Raphinha’s future is set to be decided in the coming days, with Leeds growing impatient over his transfer. The club has accepted that he will not be staying beyond this transfer window, and have signed Luis Sinisterra as his replacement

But, they now want the deal to be wrapped up as soon as possible with the Spanish side being the preferred destination for Raphinha. Chelsea have submitted a bid that Leeds have accepted, and have offered acceptable personal terms as well. But, due to the player’s personal wishes, he is pushing to join the Spanish giants in the coming days.

Next 24-48 hours crucial in Raphinha transfer saga

The Blaugrana have matched Chelsea’s offer in terms of the total amount that the Yorkshire club will receive. However, they plan to reach that amount in installments and with add-ons. The next two days will be crucial in the Brazilian’s future, since Leeds have placed a deadline on the transfer.

Joan Laporta insisted that there was no final day set to make the bid. But, Leeds are now pushing Barcelona to wrap up the transfer as soon as possible. Otherwise, they will be selling the winger to Chelsea.

Raphinha himself is open to a move to Chelsea. Not only if Barcelona fail to come through, but also if the transfer doesn’t happen quickly. As a result, the Blues are well placed to wrap up the signing by the weekend if Barcelona cannot offer what Leeds United want.
