Motorola will be launching a flagship device featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 in 2023

Tipster Evan Blass has revealed through a new report that Motorola will be working on a bunch of smartphones that it intends to launch this year, in addition to that it is also working on a flagship device that could launch later next year. The upcoming Edge Series reportedly carries the codename Tundra and this lineup will feature the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Devon, Vaui, and Victoria are other devices in this Series, apart from this, the Bronco and Canyon are two devices that are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset.

Bronco and Canyon are likely to end up as the Motorola Edge 40 Pro globally:

The tipster reports that the Canyon and Bronco are next-generation flagships along with similar specifications. The latter model is likely to feature the upcoming flagship chipset, with the code SM8550, and could be named the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset.

Motorola Edge Roadmap

The Canyon version will feature an FHD+ display that supports a refresh rate of 165Hz, a 60MP selfie shooter, and a rear camera setup featuring a quad-setup with a 50MP primary sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide lens that doubles up as a macro lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The model codenamed Canyon is likely to be the Edge 40 Pro.

Coming to the Bronco mode, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chipset, and feature an FHD+ display, in terms of selfies, it has a 16MP selfie shooter and will feature a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP+13MP+2MP camera setup.

Motorola will launch two other models in addition to these with the codename Felix and Juno. The former could feature a vertical rollable display while the latter will be a successor to the Motorola Razr 3 which will arrive with a 144Hz refresh rate and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus gen1 chipset.
