We are all pumped up to hear what’s coming next from Apple on June 6th and while everyone is excited about new iOS or iPadOS or other softwares from Apple, personally I am more excited on the hardware front. As multiple reports and leaks have suggested, the Cupertino giant could launch its redesigned MacBook Air finally!

According to AppleInsider, the AR evangelist Robert Scoble believes that Apple will launch a new user-centric web search engine similar to Google. However, this leak makes some sense but Apple receives billions to make Google as the default search engine but Apple knows there’s a huge scope in the search engine space which is clearly dominated by Google.

Why could Apple replace default Google search engine?

Though the switch isn’t expected to be so fast as it is remoured that Apple will hugely focus on building a new Augumented reality and has already trademarked realityOS, so we could see the Cupertino giant sharing some insights on that too. Not only that Apple is also scheduled to launch its on VR headset to enjoy the new AR reality it is preparing to rival against the existing Meta.

However, the likes of Apple replacing Google as its own search engine could lose a big chunk of money that it gets each year but as Apple has its own search engine powering Siri and Spotlight nothing is impossible to them.

The Cupertino giant has already replaced a bunch of Google services from its devices, introduced its own Maps and other apps to depend less on Google, but as Apple looks to step on privacy I won’t be surprised if Apple launches its own search engine as an investment to conquer the market in the next few years.
