La Liga is among the biggest football leagues in the world and boasts of having some of the best talents in the world. While the Messi and Ronaldo era has ended in Spain, the next generation of talented youngsters is coming through to make a name for themselves. And in this article, we take a look at the XI with the highest value in La Liga.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – €65m

Despite the likes of Jan Oblak and Marc Andre ter Stegen in the league, Thibaut Courtois has the highest market value in the league. The Real Madrid shot-stopper has been in great form recently, which puts him between the sticks for this line-up.

RB: Ronald Araujo – €40m

Araujo is starting to show the world what he is truly capable of in Barcelona’s defence. The youngster has put in an impressive shift every time since Xavi’s arrival and is an integral part of the club’s future.

CB: Eder Militao – €60m

The Brazilian centre-back is tied for the most valuable player in his position in La Liga. While he hasn’t fulfilled his potential yet, we are seeing his true ability more and more with him becoming a first-team regular.

CB: Joules Kounde – €60m

Kounde was expected to leave to join Chelsea last summer but ended up staying. The Sevilla centre-back is the joint-most valuable central defender in the league alongside Militao.

LB: Ferland Mendy – €50m

Ferland Mendy has been missing due to injury, which has proved exactly how valuable he is for the team. The left-back is a vital part of Madrid’s defence, and will be a big part of their future if they can hold on to him.

CM: Frenkie De Jong – €70m

De Jong has not quite hit the heights that everyone expected for him this season, but he continues to be a vital part of Barcelona’s midfield. The Dutchman is extremely versatile, which is being shown through his ability to play different roles in midfield.

CM: Gavi – €60m

The youngster has burst onto the scene with the arrival of Xavi and has also made his Spain debut. The skilful teenager is currently tied in contract negotiations with Barcelona, who are trying to renew his deal so that he can stay for longer at the club. His market value has risen the most, with a €20m rise noted.

CM: Pedri – €80m

The Golden Boy has returned from injury and is Spain’s new number 10. He is now the most valuable midfielder in the league, dictating the pace of the game with his tireless work rate and his exceptional ability.

RW: Arnaut Danjuma – €50m

The Villarreal forward has been a big revelation this season. Although it is his first year in La Liga, he has adapted to his surroundings very well and has proved himself to be a key attacker in Unai Emery’s squad.

ST: Joao Felix – €70m

🇵🇹 João Félix has been involved in ten goals in just eleven starts in the LaLiga this season for Atletico Madrid.

Joao Felix is Atletico Madrid’s most expensive signing of all time. And while he hasn’t been consistent with his performances, he has been able to provide some vital goals and assists to help his team out. He has hit a good run of form right now, and it would be a testament to his value if he can maintain the quality of performances.

LW: Vinicius Jr – €100m

La Liga’s hottest player of the season, Vinicius Jr is having an exceptional campaign. In 27 La Liga games, he has scored 14 goals and provided 6 assists, his best-ever return in a La Liga season. And as a result, he has established himself as the undisputed starter on the left-wing.
