It took David Williams only 12 seconds after kickoff to find the back of the net. The strike from the ATK Mohun Bagan striker will go down in history as the fastest in the history of the Indian Super League. And what a strike it was, to become the fastest in all eight seasons of the league.
Hyderabad FC could have won the game
The Nizams had a number of opportunities to try and win the game, but were unable to take their chances. And by the end of the game, they proved to be even more costly.
A goal in the final minutes of the game gave the black and yellow club the equaliser, and helped them salvage a point from the crazy game.
Brand new league leaders
With a point against ATK Mohun Bagan, Hyderabad FC are now the league leaders for the first time in their history. They are level on points with Mumbai City FC, at 16 each, and are only ahead on goal difference.
Being the best defensive side in the league, Hyderabad FC have a strong chance of winning the title at the end of the campaign. ATKMB are not far behind either, with 15 points from their nine games.
