Google-owned Fitbit has launched its latest fitness tracker, the Fitbit Charge 5, the fitness tracker comes with an all-new aerodynamic design that is sleeker than ever and 10% thinner than its predecessors.
The Charge 5 features a 1.04″ AMOLED color display that is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display has an always-on option and is said to be two times brighter than the Charge 4.
Fitbit Charge 5 is equally touted to be the first tracker from Fitbit that will arrive with an EDA sensor. The sensor measures the response of the body to stress using small changes in the sweat glands on your fingers.
The fitness tracker also comes with built-in GPS and supports up to 20 exercise modes, it comes with an automatic exercise recognition feature as well as a V02 max tracker.
Other important health features onboard the Charge 5 include 24 hours heart rate monitor as well as other key wellness parameters that are assessed via the Health Metrics dashboard on the Fitbit app.
The metrics that are tracked are breathing rate, skin temperature variation, SpO2rate, and sleep data such as Sleep Scores, Sleep Stages, and also has SmartWake alarms.
The Charge 5 features 20 colorful watch faces that you can choose from, the tracker itself is available in black color with a graphite stainless steel case. Other color options include Lunar White with Soft Gold Stainless Steel case and Steel Blue with Platinum Stainless Steel case.
Coming to the pricing of the device, it is $179.95 or 13,255 INR and is available for pre-ordering at Fitbit.com.
