At one point, their squad consisted of extraordinary talents such as Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe upfront, alongside Ramos, Marquinhos, Hakimi, and Donnarumma in defence. Nevertheless, both Messi and Ramos had departed from the club, and Mbappe joined Real Madrid.

However, it has now been made official that the French league, Ligue 1 is not in the top 5 leagues in the world anymore. Netherlands’ league Eredivisie is in the 5th position followed by France’s Ligue 1 coming in the 6th position.

This means Neymar and Mbappe will not be playing in one of the best leagues around the world. They will be plying their trade outside the top 5 leagues in the world.
