iQOO has announced that their upcoming iQOO 8 series would debut at the ChinaJoy event early next month, to begin this event will be held from July 30 to August 2nd, and we can anticipate seeing several iQOO 8-series phones at the event.

According to the tipster, the iQOO 8 series will feature an E5 2K resolution display, it will have an LTPO panel along with 10-bit color. The device will sport a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be a variable refresh rate and will switch between 1Hz and 120Hz depending upon the content consumed on the screen.

Previous rumors had indicated that it will have a large punch-hole panel. In addition to this, it was also revealed that the iQOO 8 Series will be the first to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, it will be paired with 12GB RAM with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM. As far as the storage of the device is concerned, it will have 256GB of onboard storage.

The smartphone is also expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for an amazing 120W fast charging. This is a significant upgrade over the 4,000mAh battery in its predecessor, the iQOO 7.

Apart from this, the series will include an in-display fingerprint scanner and boot an OriginOS 1.0, based on Android 11.
