iQOO 7 series was the last flagship series from the brand that launched a couple of months ago in India. Now it seems to be the time for another flagship series. Looking at the previous launches of iQOO, we can see that the brand always launches its flagship series of smartphones with odd numbers. Like we have seen the iQOO 3, iQOO 5 and iQOO 7 series, this is why we were guessing that the company will launch iQOO 9 series by the next year as Qualcomm has already announced its next flagship chipset which is the Snapdragon 895 mobile processor.
A recent post in iQOO’s official account on Weibo announces a new tournament named ‘iQOO Yunnan King of Glory Tournament’. This tournament’s registration will end by the end of July and its final will happen on the day of iQOO 8 product launch. Yes now you heard it right, the upcoming flagship series of the brand is the iQOO 8 series. It will launch in China next month or in September.
iQOO 8 series will be the name of the next flagship series of the company, and its name will not be iQOO 9 series. One of the devices in the series might feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 mobile processor, which is the recently announced flagship chipset of the company. There is no certain information about the details of this smartphone but it seems that iQOO will surely launch the iQOO 8 series with a couple of months in China.
