It was expected that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo will launch its upcoming flagship Vivo NEX 5 by this year. But now the expectation is totally gone as several Chinese tipsters are claiming that NEX 5 will not be a reality this year. Due to some internal reasons, the usual Vivo NEX series will be delayed.

Reports claim that Vivo NEX 5 is now being rebuilt internally and some new technologies will be implemented in the final version. So, it should be worth it to wait for the upcoming technological masterpiece for a year.

Apart from the Vivo NEX 5, if you could remember last month the company had also filed a trademark for a new folding smartphone named Vivo Nex Fold. This year we can expect the foldable smartphone from Vivo and it is claimed to launch in December.

Except for the trademark and some basic specifications like the top-of-the-line processor and other features the foldable smartphone of Vivo seems very much confidential until now. We are hoping to get more information about the Vivo NEX Fold in the future.
