Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra to arrive with 50MP ISOCELL GN2 Camera

In February 2021, Samsung had launched its 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN2 camera sensor and as per a recent report, Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone Mi 11 Ultra will have this 50MP ISOCELL GN2 sensor. This phone is expected to get launched on March 29 and it is likely that the lens will make its debut with this phone.

The massive 50MP ISOCELL GN2 sensor has been co-developed by Xiaomi and Samsung. The sensor size is 1/1.2” which offers 2.8μm superpixel. Moreover, it offers the world’s first-ever Dual Pixel PD Pro for quick and accurate autofocus. This new sensor is equipped with some of the most interesting features, such as 1.4μm pixel size, 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, Smart ISO, and 120fps 4K video shooting. The best thing is that by this sensor, you can capture a 100MP image courtesy of Samsung’s intelligent re-mosaic algorithm.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra specifications (Rumored)

Coming to the rumored specifications of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, it will run MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone will offer a 6.81-inch OLED QHD+ punch-hole panel with a faster refresh rate of 120Hz. This phone will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. This phone will be IP68 certified and the screen will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The SoC of this phone will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Coming to the camera section, it will feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 primary sensor, a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto snapper, and a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens. The rear camera is said to have support for 120x zoom with a secondary screen. For selfies, this phone offers a 20MP selfie snapper at the front.

The Mi 11 Ultra is said to be fueled up by a massive 5,000mAH battery supported by 67W of fast wired charging, 67W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.
