Redmi Note 9 5G will arrive in two editions: Specifications leaked

A piece of good news is coming out from Xiaomi, as the company is going to launch another 5G smartphone series: Redmi Note 9 5G series that will include Standard Edition and a High Edition. Tipster ‘Digital Chat Station’ has tweeted a post and as well as on the Chinese TENAA website, revealing the specifications of this upcoming 5G smartphones.

Looking at the specs of this upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition, it is expected that this phone will be a tweaked version of the Redmi Mi 10T Lite, but the camera setup of the upcoming Redmi Note 9 is different from the Mi 10T Lite.

According to 3C certification of china approved two Xiaomi phones with model numbers – M2007J17C and M2007J22C. So, let’s check out what features these two phones will bring.

Specifications of Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition

According to a leaked source, the Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition will sport a 6.67-inches Full HD display with (1080×2400) pixels of screen resolution. The display of this phone also features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. In terms of dimensions, this phone will measure (165.4×76.8×9) mm and weighs 214 grams.

Regarding the processor information, the source reveals that the Note 9 High Edition will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G SoC. The phone will have a decent battery backup of 4,820 mAh which will be supported by a 33W of fast charging technology. There is no information about the storage configuration of this phone.

Coming to the camera section, the phone comes with a quad rear camera setup at the backside, and this phone could be the world’s first smartphone to feature Samsung’s HM2 108MP sensor. On the front side, the phone may feature a hole-punch cutout on the screen to hold a 16 MP selfie shooter.

Specifications of Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition (rumored)

The Redmi Note 9 standard edition will have a 6.53-inches LCD Full HD display with (1080×2400) pixels of screen resolution. The display of this phone also offers a 20:9 screen to body ratio. In terms of dimension, this phone measures(161.96×77.25×9.2) mm and weighs 200 grams.

Under the hood, the Note 9 Standard Edition will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U. According to the source, this phone houses a decent battery backup of 5000 mAh with 22.5W fast charging support.

This phone comes with a triple rear camera setup, including 48 MP of the main shooter. But there is no information about the other two sensors. On the front side, the phone will have a punch hole cut out at the top left corner of the screen to hold a 13 MP selfie sensor.
