Today iPhone 12 series has been launched and the most shocking thing about the series is there will be no in-box chargers or earphones. Another big news is, yesterday Apple unveiled its first iPhones to come without a power adapter or earphones in the box. Earlier the iPhone 11 series phones came with a USB-C to Lightning cable, power adapter, and Earpods. But, unfortunately from now on iPhone XR, iPhone 11 and iPhone SE (2020) units will only come with a USB-C to Lightning cable and no power adapter or EarPods in the box.
For this sudden change in the packaging, Apple has discounted the price of its EarPods by $10, taking them down to $19 apiece and matching the price of the new 20W power adapter. As iPhone 12 series has launched today, the predecessor ones like the iPhone 11 ($599) and XR ($499) also received discounts following the 12 series announcement.
Now we have to see whether the step from Apple will be appreciable by its users or not. Because the overall price has increased if we consider the iPhone 12 series. But the company is not providing any charger or earphones. That means you have to buy them separately. Now if we check the pricing of the iPhone 12 series, iPhone 12 Mini has a price tag of Rs. 69,900 and it is the starting iPhone of this series. SO, after spending a huge amount of money on buying it, we have to spend more and more money to buy its accessories.
