Recently Sony announced the pricing of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition as $499 and $399, now the retail boxes of these next-gen gaming consoles have been leaked. Both the Sony PS5 consoles will be launching on November 12 in certain countries like the U.S., Japan, Canada, and others while for global availability one has to wait until November 19.
So, will you have to wait till then to get to see the retail boxes of the upcoming next-gen console? No! Thanks to @videogamedeals for sharing the images of both the normal PlayStation 5 and the Digital Edition as well.
Sony has kept things simple for both the retail boxes, while the regular Sony PS5 comes in simple white packaging, the Digital Edition comes in a black theme with their PlayStation logos that actually looks better.
Both of the Sony PS5 packagings shows the console’s 4K and 8K capabilities as well. Also there’s the signature blue-colored lines that resembles Sony’s traditional style.
