WhatsApp has even released a short video titled as “Hello Darkness”, and also includes a previously unreleased version of “The Sound of Silence” by Paul Simon.

How to enable WhatsApp Dark Mode on Android and iOS?

If not, then all you have to do is, head over to Settings -> Chats -> Theme and selecting Dark from the options. The iOS users will enjoy the benefit of a pure black theme in most areas of the app while those on Android will have to get used to a dark grey background.

Even though it’s not a huge difference but Android users with OLED displays would have preferred a pure black theme instead. Have you updated your WhatsApp yet? Enjoy the most wanted WhatsApp feature of all time.
