2020-21 TV revenues for La Liga and Premier League revealed

La Liga and Premier League have revealed their television revenues generated for 20/2021. The previous season was affected by the pandemic, which led to fans being banned from attending games in stadiums. 

The Spanish league has earned €1.4 billion in total, which is €27 million more than what they made last season. The Premier League has earned €2.5 billion during the same time. 

La Liga 20/21 TV revenue 

Barcelona continued their stronghold over the top position in the TV revenue charts in 20/21. They have been the highest earners from TV revenue since 2017/18, with their rivals, Real Madrid in second place. 

The Blaugrana have earned €165 million from the division that La Liga have made. On the other hand, Real Madrid have earned marginally less, with €163 million pocketed. Atletico Madrid have been given €156.2 million. 

Premier League 20/21 TV revenue

Being the biggest league in the world, the English league has made more money than anybody else through TV. The highest earners are the two Manchester clubs. Reigning champions Man City are at the top, with €168.72 million. Their rivals from across town, Man United, have made €167.61 million.

Liverpool have been given €166 million, while Champions League winners Chelsea are fourth with €164 million. They are followed by Leicester City (€154.29 million), West Ham (€152.07 million), Tottenham Hotspur (€152.07 million) and Arsenal (€149.628 million)
