1899: Netflix Confirms the Official Release Date of the Horror Thriller

Netflix has dropped the new trailer of Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese’s 1899. With the consistency of their stylistic penchant for serving up dread and thrill in equal measure, this project just takes on a slightly different trajectory, one has been titled more towards mystery with less time traveling that has been incorporated into the scenario.

1899

There is a really international show keen to project the linguistic diversity of Europe, 1899 with several European languages spoken in the movie. From Polish to French, Spanish, and German. There is a fitting montage of European culture. As an ambitious project, 1899 was just produced using the latest cutting-edge technology set to render with visual effects. A video game has been employed to create virtual sets and the motion graphics permit high-level in-camera edits.

Now, 1899 follows a group of immigrants from such diverse backgrounds traveling from Europe to New York in search of unique opportunities. By set in 1899, just at the turn of several centuries, the passengers also united in optimism based on what the future holds until they encounter another migrant ship adrift on the open sea. There is a hitherto not-so-complicated journey that has been promised land that turns into a horrifying night of staggering proportions.
