The esports community is buzzing! After a four-year hiatus from competitive Counter-Strike, 100 Thieves has officially announced its triumphant return to the tactical shooter scene—this time in Counter-Strike 2. The announcement comes with massive partnerships and ambitious plans that signal this isn’t just a comeback, it’s a statement.

Esports Big Return: What We Know

Founded by Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, 100 Thieves originally disbanded their CS:GO division back in 2020. Now, they’re making waves with an announcement that combines competitive aspirations with groundbreaking infrastructure investments.

Key Announcement Details

Roobet Partnership: A Game-Changing Alliance

The multi-year partnership with Roobet isn’t just about sponsorship dollars—it’s about building a sustainable infrastructure for long-term success. The collaboration will fund the establishment of a state-of-the-art training facility in Serbia, marking 100 Thieves’ first major international expansion outside the United States.

According to Jacob Toft-Andersen, 100 Thieves’ president, Counter-Strike remains “a cornerstone of esports,” and the European base reflects their commitment to excellence and authenticity in the competitive scene.

Serbia Training Facility: Europe’s New CS2 Hub

This isn’t just another team house. The Serbian facility will serve dual purposes:

✅ Elite training environment for competitive players
✅ Content creation hub for 100 Thieves’ creators
