Rhode Island has been named the best U.S. state for people trying to lead a healthy lifestyle, according to a new study from Myprotein.
The sports nutrition brand compared all 50 states (as well as Washington D.C.), looking at the availability of gyms and green space, as well as the cost of a gym membership, tennis court rental and a healthy grocery shop, using this data to give each location a score.
Rhode Island took the top spot overall, scoring highest for affordability, second for green space and seventh for gym access. Delaware followed closely behind, with Wisconsin taking third place and North Dakota and Connecticut rounding out the top five.
