ZTE Axon 40 Ultra pictured in official-looking renders for the first time

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. Next week ZTE will reveal the recent Axon series, the Axon 40, with three models, decided: the vanilla Axon 40, as well as the Axon 40 Pro and Axon 40 Ultra.
We’ve already seen the Ultra photographed in a live image from the front side, but today thanks to a Chinese retailer’s listing of the upcoming new device, we can see its rear image.

It looks like a lavish smartphone released in 2022 and what impresses you at the next level is the next-generation under-display selfie camera, which you cannot see with the naked eye.
ZTE has been an initiator in the under-display camera space, so it makes sense to keep trailblazing and outpacing itself in this matter with each new release.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra: Specifications and features

The backside has three large camera sensors, all of which will be 64MP. They will all also have uphold for capturing 8K video. Not only that, but it is blathered that the chief and ultrawide will use the exact same sensor.
The Axon 40 Ultra’s QHD + screen has a “waterfall” curve on both sides and unbelievably small top and bottom backplate, while the rear glass curves similarly, leaving only room for a small aluminum frame. The aesthetics are very amiable, that we can say for sure.

Recently, the Chinese company announced that the smartphones will come armed with an absolute security chip for hardware level safeguard. In the camera department, the Axon 40 Pro will feature a 100-megapixel camera build up.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra: Storage capacity

According to earlier reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will power the Axon 40 Ultra, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, while the battery capacity could be 5,000mAh with support for speed charging from 65 W. The Axon 40 structure will come electrified by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
