Youssoufa Moukoko is set to join Olympique Marseille from Borussia Dortmund. The youngster had proposals from more than five clubs from across Europe. However, he has chosen the project at Marseille as he feels it is the best fit for him.
The French club has received a big boost through the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi after his impressive spell at Brighton. And now, Moukoko is set to be the direct replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who recently left the club.

The striker will be joining on a loan deal with a buy option, which will be valid from next summer. The two clubs are currently in talks over the details of the transfer such as the fee and the clauses to be involved in the transfer.
The 19-year-old’s progress has stagnated over the past few seasons due to limited playing time with the first team. However, he has been able to score 17 goals in 76 Bundesliga appearances.
Before that, Moukoko was one of the finest in the youth leagues, scoring 44 goals in 23 U-19 Bundesliga games while racking up 83 goals in 44 U-17 Bundesliga games.
The Dortmund academy graduate showed a lot of promise, but was not chosen ahead of Sebastian Haller and Niclas Fullkrug. Although the latter is set to join West Ham United, Moukoko is seemingly set to leave in search of more game time as well.
