Youssoufa Moukoko has signed a new contract with Borussia Dortmund that extends his stay at the club until 2026. The youngster’s previous deal was set to expire at the end of the season, and he could have walked out as a free agent.
But despite the interest from Chelsea and Barcelona, he has signed an extension at the club that will keep him there for the next few years.

“It’s no secret that I feel good at BVB,” Youssoufa Moukoko said. “I played in the youth teams, took my first steps in professional football here and now I’m ready to take the next step in my development together with the club. I feel the trust of the coaching staff and I have an environment here in which I can develop perfectly. Of course I was honored by the interest of other clubs, but ultimately it’s a heart decision. The fans have always supported me and I want to give something back to them and the club.”
The teenager graduated from the Dortmund academy and became their youngest goalscorer across several competitions upon making his debut.
This season, he has scored six and assisted six goals and has proved to be influential in big games, although he is only 18 years old. As a result, he is showing huge potential to develop into a star for the future.
While Dortmund could be open to bids from 2025, they have secured his services for the next two seasons by the looks of things. The Germany international could develop into a star if he can stay on the upward spiral, and keep delivering on a consistent basis. A couple years down the line, he could be the next big money sale for the black and yellow club.
