When a neighboring nation plots biowarfare against India during the Maha Kumbh Mela, 16-year-old prodigy Janani develops a vaccine—making her the prime target. Her uncle, Akhanda Rudra Sikandar, unleashes his supernatural powers to protect her and save the nation. With stunning action sequences and mythological elements, this is Balakrishna at his most powerful. Similar to epic Telugu cinema traditions, Akhanda 2 blends spirituality with high-octane entertainment.
2. Jigris (SunNXT)
This heartwarming buddy comedy follows four childhood friends—Karthik, Praveen, Vinay, and Prashanth—who embark on a final road trip to Goa when Prashanth is diagnosed with cancer. Packed in a Maruti 800, they face hilarious mishaps while rediscovering the true meaning of friendship. Perfect for those seeking emotional warmth mixed with laughter, Jigris captures the essence of lifelong bonds tested by time and tragedy.
3. Silent Screams: The Lost Girls of Telangana (SunNXT)
Narrated by Shruti Haasan, this hard-hitting true-crime documentary investigates systemic oppression against women in Telangana. Through extensive research, it examines real missing-person cases and crimes that shocked the region. For viewers who appreciate investigative journalism and social commentary, Silent Screams offers a sobering look at issues that often go unaddressed. The documentary shines a light on stories that deserve attention and justice.
4. Constable Kanakam Season 2 (ETVWin)
Varsha Bollamma reprises her role as PC Dimmala Kanaka Mahalakshmi in this gripping mystery thriller. After Chandrika disappears in a forest, the investigation plunges deeper into a complex web of deception. Season 2 picks up unresolved threads from the first installment, raising stakes as officers race against time to find the missing woman. Much like other successful Telugu web series on OTT platforms, Constable Kanakam delivers suspense with strong female-led storytelling.
