Your Lucky Day Release Date: ‘Euphoria’ Star Angus Cloud Channels Fezco in One of His Final Roles

Your Lucky Day Release Date: Angus Cloud is appearing on TV for one of the last times in the heist movie “Your Lucky Day.”

The “Euphoria” star, who died at age 25 in July 2023, leads writer-director-actor Daniel Brown’s nose directorial debut. Cloud plays drug dealer Sterling, who holds a convenience store hostage after he witnesses an older, well-off man win a $156 million lottery. Jessica Garza, Elliot Knight, and Mousa Hussein Kraish play witnesses, with Authentic Beaumon cast as a cop. The film is adapted from writer Brown’s 2010 short film of the same term, with Rider Strong in the role of Sterling.

“I had written the character grounded on people I had grown up with guys who sold drugs and would start fights by frat boys or their stepdads, but who were also super protective and loyal to their friends,” Brown told Entertainment Broadsheet. “[Cloud’sCloud’s] stories and outlook were so right on for the appeal, I just had to go for it.”

He added, “As with all clothes, Angus, I remember his kindness and enthusiasm for others. He stood one of one.””

Cloud rose to fame at age 21 as medicine dealer Fezco on “Euphoria” after HBO casting director Jennifer Venditti stopped him on the thoroughfare in Manhattan. In addition to “Your Lucky Day,” Cloud stars in posthumous releases “Freaky Tales” and “The Line.” He was also cast in “Scream” filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s new film for Universal, co-starring Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, and Kathryn Newton, besides Giancarlo Esposito. So in this article, we will discuss Your Lucky Day Release Date!

Trailer

The trailer begins on a nervous note, highlighting the importance of the lottery to the story as Genuine is knocked unconscious and robbed. Unsure of where else to go, he heads into a corner store where another customer has just won the lottery, causing Sterling to spring into the deed to steal the ticket.

While Sterling didn’t head into the store with the intention of robbing someone (probably), his quick result suggests that money is something he’s long struggled with — and $156 million is a rather life-changing amount. Sterling may be in a tough spot, but he isn’t the only one, as even the others everywhere him begin wondering how their lives could be different, too. Of course, others are after the jackpot, and clothes continue to escalate.
