In the charming world of XO, Kitty, our teenage protagonist, believes she’s the ultimate love guru. After successfully playing matchmaker for her sisters, Lara Jean and Peter, she sets her sights on Dae, a Korean boy who captures her heart. Boldly crossing continents to chase her romantic dreams, she quickly learns that real love is far more complicated than her carefully crafted fantasies. Her journey becomes a heartfelt and hilarious exploration of the messy, unpredictable nature of relationships, challenging everything she thought she knew about love and forcing her to grow in ways she never expected.

On blending with some archival footage from the movies, the new trailer continues from where Kitty had been accepted into a South Korean school, and her father and Trina have decided she can attend. This has ensued after matches right up along with what the series is about. Kitty comes to know that Dae has moved on with another girl who already lives in the country. But Kitty had not even moved all that way for nothing, and despite the hiccup, she’s determined to win Dae back as she adjusts to her new school. 

While Kitty works towards her primary goal, the trailer teases that romance won’t be the only prominent theme in the series. Kitty herself even says it’s “not all about a boy” as she also sets her mind on experiencing all that South Korea has to offer. Naturally, she’ll face several challenges along the way, but she maintains a determined mindset to keep her going. From the looks of it, her journey goes pretty well as she gets her own.

On Twitter, Netflix has unlocked a 36-second short teaser that starts with Dae, drafting something on a white paper. After writing something, he passes it to Min Ho.
