The Xiaomi Watch S1 had debuted in China in December 2021, now the company appears to be working on a newer version of that dubbed the Watch S1 Active. A report from 91Mobiles and tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed the design of the Watch S1 Active.
The upcoming smartwatch is likely to arrive in the global market alongside the Xiaomi 12 Series. Similar to the Watch S1, the Active model has a circular dial with a silicone sports band. Along with the Watch S1 Active, the renders of the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X have also been revealed.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Active Design
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active has a similar design with a circular dial and a strap made of silicone supposedly. The smartwatch comes with two hardware buttons on the dial, with the words Home, Sport, Outdoor, and Active engraved on it.
As is the case with most smartwatches, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active can track steps, outdoor sports, and a lot more. It will carry support for multiple watch faces as well. From the renders, we can expect the watch to come in Black, Blue, and White colors.
That is all we have for now with respect to the Watch S1 Active, we can expect the upcoming Active model to be built on the Standard Watch S1 in terms of specs and other features.
The Watch S1 has a 1.43″ AMOLED display, 5ATM water-resistance rating, nearly 117 sports modes, and a GNSS location for outdoor movement tracking. The watch carries a 470mAh battery that can last up to 12 days on a single charge. There is a mic and a speaker so that you can take calls and also a SpO2 tracker with heart rate monitoring.
Xiaomi 12 Series
The Xiaomi 12 Series has already debuted in China but it has not yet been released globally. The new renders of the 12 Series are similar to the original but with a slight change, a new ‘5G’ branding on the back panel.
The Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X can be seen in Black, Blue, and Purple colors. The phones arrive with a triple camera setup on the rear with an LED flash. We can speculate the hardware specs to be similar to the Chinese variants.
A report from PriceBaba had previously revealed the alleged prices of the Xiaomi 12 Series. The base variant is expected to retail for 75,450 INR, it will be available in an 8GB+128GB variant and 8GB+256GB variant.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro on the other hand will begin at 92,450 INR and will be available in 8GB+256GB and a 12GB+256GB variant. The Xiaomi 12X will also come in an 8GB+128GB variant and an 8GB+256GB variant and will be priced between 50,400 INR and 58,800 INR.
The detailed specs and availability will be revealed at the global launch event on the 15th of March.
