In China, Xiaomi held a large-scale event and used the opportunity to introduce many new products: smartphones with wearable accessories. Of particular note, it introduced the Xiaomi MIX Flip in the flip clamshell folding phone segment to compete against devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Vivo X Flip, and OPPO Find N3 Flip in its home market.

Xiaomi MIX Flip made headlines for having the largest 4.01-inch display of any foldable so far. It has symmetrical bezels on all sides, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 3,000 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Dragon Crystal Glass from Xiaomi.
The secondary cover screen has a dedicated earpiece and microphone on the top bezel so that users don’t need to open the phone to make calls. With the full-sized smart keyboard, brilliant partitions, and whole new meaningless photography as well as other intelligent features, it is both functional and stylish.

You get a 32MP selfie camera punched inside the inner screen. The device comes with a Master Portrait mode and shoots over four focal lengths.
Xiaomi MIX Flip is backed by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM as well as UFS4.0 storage that goes all the way up to a massive 1TB. The device comes with a 4,780mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging, to be powered by a liquid cooling chamber. Android 14 with HyperOS powers the gadget.
Available in White, Purple, and Black, the Xiaomi MIX Flip is priced at CNY 5,999 ($825) for the 12GB + 256GB model, CNY 6,499 ($894) for the 12GB + 512GB variant, and CNY 7,299 (~$1,004) for the 16GB + 1TB option. The foldable phone will be available starting July 23.
