Xiaomi hosted a mega virtual event a few hours back in which they launched a number of products. But, the highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone. It is one of the highly talked about smartphone markets due to its awesome features which are not regularly seen in even the most expensive devices. Let’s decode what Xiaomi has offered to us with Mi 11 Ultra!

The Mi 11 Ultra flaunts a 6.81-inch QHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 3200×1440 pixels. It comes with a high adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The biggest talking point of this new smartphone is the presence of a secondary screen at the backside. This screen can display Notifications, time, weather, offers Music control and aids in taking selfies with the rear camera. Also, it helps massively in battery saving as Xiaomi claims that the screen can give 55 hours of battery backup with just 10% remaining battery.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Soc and runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box. It draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery cell and is paired with a 67W wired fast-charging support. Also, the device comes with a 67W wireless charging and a 10W reverse charging support.

In terms of optics, the Mi 11 Ultra features a triple camera setup at the back. This includes a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 primary sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 48MP Sony IMX586 telephoto lens. All the 3 camera sensors including the Tele macro shooter. For selfies and video chats, it offers a 20MP front snapper. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is IP68 certified as well. You also get Harmon Kardon stereo speakers.

This stunning smartphone comes in three storage variants at three different prices.
- 8GB + 256GB – RMB 5,599 or around Rs 62,000
- 12GB + 256GB – RMB 5,999 or approx Rs 66,500
- 16GB + 256GB – RMB 6,999 or around Rs 77,500
All three variants will go on sale from 2nd April. But, this launch is only for the Chinese market. Nothing is mentioned about its global launch.
