The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will likely be the next flagship device launch from the Xiaomi brand, and details about it have been circulating online over the past few weeks. The smartphone’s 3C certification confirmed it will support 90W charging and should support rapid boosts in this regard. Recently, the device had also been listed on MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), confirming some of the device’s key specs. Another leak mentions the battery of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, again by tipster DCS.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Bags MIIT Certification, Bigger Battery and Satellite Communication Support Expected

As usual, the model number that appears on the MIIT certification website is 25019PNF3C, while the letter “C” implies that it is the Chinese version. The certification also indicates that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will support satellite communication standards. That enables two-way SOS messaging in places without cellular coverage, a feature we previously saw on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra but only in China. Moreover, it is confirmed in the recent BIS registration that the support of the device will be NR SA/NR NSA/TD-LTE/LTE FDD/WCDMA/GSM network standards.

It is also confirmed that the much-expected technology is 5G-enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) will be included in the preferred 5G network ensuring better reliability and speed of connection. Apart from satellite communication, we also have another update regarding the Xiaomi 15 Ultra battery. The phone is expected to feature a bigger battery than the Xiaomi 14 Ultra including China with 5,300 mAh and the global one with a 5,000 mAh battery, as per DCS.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro launched with a 61oomAh battery earlier this year so we expect a similar size or larger cell in the 15 Ultra for better longevity and performance. The Xiaomi 15 official launch date is expected in February 2025 in China and March 2025 in India. Xiaomi 15 Ultra should have a pricing similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which launched in February with a starting price of ₹99,999 in India.
