Xiaomi 14T Series Spotted on NBTC: Launch Imminent

It looks like Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its new Xiaomi 14T series. The global model of the Xiaomi 14T Pro was also recently discovered in Thailand on NBTC certification, revealing some key specs. The name and model number (2407FPN8EG) of the device – Xiaomi 14T Pro — have also been confirmed via NBTC certification. It also shows GSM, WCDMA, and LTE/NR connecting support.

However, more info from the Camera FV-5 database indicates that the main rear cam will deliver with f/1.6 aperture size and 12.6MP pixel binning along with optical image stabilization (OIS) on the Xiaomi 14T Pro. The 12.6MP pixel binning resolution means we are looking at a main sensor with around 50MP unit cell size. The selfie camera is rumored to include an f/2.0 aperture and 8.1MP and the cameras will feature Leica co-branding, much like Xiaomi’s high-end models.

On the inside, we expect a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process to run things for the Xiaomi 14T Pro. It is powered by a Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.25GHz, three other X4 cores running up to 2.85GHz an additional four A720 cores running up to two GHz, and a Mali-G1200 Immortalis MP12 GPU. The 14T series could also signify the arrival of wireless charging on Xiaomi’s T series for the first time as well. Previous reports also suggest that displays for the Xiaomi 14T series will be supplied by Tianma.

Traditionally, Xiaomi’s T series differentiates standard and Pro models primarily through their processors. Both the 13T and 13T Pro shared similar cameras and battery capacities, and this trend is expected to continue with the 14T series. Regarding its launch, the Xiaomi 14T series is slated for release sometime in August or September. However, there is uncertainty about its availability in India, as Xiaomi did not launch the 12T and 13T series in the country.
