The Upcoming Xiaomi 14 Series and HyperOS

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 series will incorporate Leica Summilux lenses. This marks the first time that Xiaomi will utilize Leica Summilux lenses in its smartphones. In the past, the brand employed Leica Summicron lenses for its flagship smartphones, including the Xiaomi 12/13 series and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra concept phone.

There are speculations that Xiaomi will introduce two smartphones within the Xiaomi 14 series: the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Renders of the Pro model’s design have recently been disclosed, revealing a flat display, departing from the curved-edge design of its predecessor. It also features a quad-camera setup, as opposed to the triple-camera setup on the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

The Xiaomi 14 has also made an appearance on Geekbench with 16GB of RAM. In the tests, the device achieved a score of 2244 points in the single-core test and 6820 points in the multi-core test using Geekbench 6. In addition to unveiling the next-generation Xiaomi 14 series in China on October 26, Xiaomi will also introduce its new operating system, HyperOS, on the same day. The company aspires for its new operating system to be the “center of your universe,” according to an official teaser announcement.
