Xiaomi 14 Civi: Xiaomi Launches First Ever Civi Phone in India Starting at ₹45,999

Xiaomi has released its first-ever Civi version to India, the Xiaomi 14 Civi. While the Civi series was introduced in China in 2021, this is the first time it will go on sale in India. The Xiaomi 14 Civi is this year’s budget-friendly option in the lineup, which consists of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra as well. It features top-end hardware, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, 12 GB of RAM, and a triple rear camera setup with Leica lenses like its flagship siblings.

The All New Xiaomi 14 Civi

Xiaomi 14 Civi comes in two configurations: 8GB RAM/256GB storage at ₹45,999 and 12GB RAM/512GB storage at ₹50,999. Hence, the sale will start on June 20, exclusively on Flipkart and Mi.com. However, with the launch, Xiaomi is offering discounts of ₹3,000 on ICICI cards, three months of YouTube Premium, 100GB of Google One cloud storage for 6 months, and a free Xiaomi priority club membership.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, the Civi also ships with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The device is much lighter compared to the Xiaomi 14 and the 14 Ultra, weighing 177 grams and has 72.7mm thickness.

Photography remains a key feature of the Xiaomi 14 Civi, with a Leica lens-equipped triple camera system that includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a Light Hunter 800 image sensor and OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a 50mm portrait focal length and 2x zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree FOV. The rear cameras support HDR 4K recording at 30 fps and various 4K video modes.

The front of the phone features a dual camera setup with a 32-megapixel primary selfie camera and a 32-megapixel ultrawide selfie camera, both supporting 4K recording at 30 fps, Night mode, HDR, and more. Powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging, the Xiaomi 14 Civi also includes a dedicated cooling system called Xiaomi IceLoop. Additional features are an in-screen fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC support.
