Microsoft has officially confirmed six more Xbox Game Pass games that will be added to the program in the coming weeks. This week has been an exciting one for Xbox Game Pass users, as Microsoft not only unveiled the games that would be available in the first half of July 2023 but also shocked fans by adding one of the highest-rated video games ever released.
Two more games have been added to the Xbox Game Pass roster for customers to play. Sword and Fairy: Together Forever is currently playable on PC, Xbox consoles, and the cloud for Xbox Game Pass customers, whereas Grand Theft Auto 5 is accessible on both the cloud and consoles.
Grand Theft Auto 5 was a hugely unexpected new addition to the Xbox Game Pass collection, but Sword and Fairy: Together Forever was already mentioned.
- Sword and Fairy: Together Forever (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – Available now
- Grand Theft Auto 5 (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – Available now
- McPixel 3 (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – July 6
- Common’hood (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – July 11
- Insurgency: Sandstorm (PC) – July 11
- Exoprimal (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – July 14
- Techtonica (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – July 14
- The Cave (Cloud/Consoles) – July 18
While Grand Theft Auto 5 has received the most attention from Xbox Game Pass customers, fans should keep an eye out for the six other games planned to join the program in the coming weeks. This includes McPixel 3 on July 6, which will be available on the cloud, consoles, and PC, as well as Common’hood and the PC version of Insurgency: Sandstorm on July 11. Exoprimal will be available to Xbox Game Pass users on July 14, while Technica will be available as an early access title on July 18. Finally, The Cave will be available on Xbox Game Pass on July 18.
Exoprimal is likely the most notable of these games. Exoprimal is a brand-new IP from Capcom that is an experimental PvEvP shooter game in which players fight against one another to achieve objectives and kill large waves of dinosaurs. The sheer number of dinosaurs that Exoprimal can fit on-screen at once is its biggest selling point, but it remains to be seen if it all adds up to a satisfying gaming experience. Capcom, on the other hand, has been on a roll recently, so Exoprimal could be a surprise hit.
