A new mid-range smartphone from iQOO dubbed the iQOO Neo 7 is anticipated to be on sale in October.
The launch date of the forthcoming smartphone has been revealed via Weibo tipper @ (via ITHome). The rumour states that the 20th and 21st of October will probably see the Chinese release of the iQOO Neo 7. A few of the next device’s specifications have already leaked.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ is the Neo 7’s most noteworthy component. This device comes with a Cortex-X2 core, three Cortex-A710 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores with this cutting-edge 4nm chipset from TSMC. A Mali-G710 MC10 GPU also comes within the device.
iQOO Neo 7 expected features
The device’s Pro version reportedly has a 2K E6 AMOLED flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will have 512GB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM configurable. The gadget should have a 5,000mAh battery and 120W rapid charging capability. The display on the entry-level model features a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The newest specifications leak comes from a well-known Chinese tipster named Panda, and it provides information on the iQOO Neo 7’s battery and charging capabilities (via). He asserts that the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. The device’s 3C listing has confirmed the charging, so this is hardly a surprise.
Neo 7’s 120W fast charging is a notable improvement over its predecessor’s 80W charging capabilities. The future device is most likely not going to feature wireless charging, much like the Neo 6.
The Neo 7 rumours to include three cameras on its back: a 12-megapixel portrait telephoto lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V image sensor.
The forthcoming smartphone’s specifications not confirmed by iQOO yet. In the upcoming days, we hope to learn more about it.
