Wild Wild Punjab
Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh, the Fukrey pair, return to amuse audiences with their new film Wild Wild Punjab. On Monday, the film’s makers debuted the official trailer. Simarpreet Singh directed Wild Wild Punjab, which will be available on Netflix on July 10.
Director Simarpreet Singh stated, “At some point in our lives, each of us has either been a Khanne or consoled a Khanne, sticking by friends through thick and thin, regardless of the circumstances. This film discusses some unusual, shared experiences and crazy recollections that strengthen friendships. The entire cast perfectly captures these moments, and filming this film was an unforgettable experience.”
“Playing Khanne was an enjoyable task. His path from tragedy to self-discovery is both funny and moving. Working with friends made it even more memorable and enjoyable,” said Varun Sharma.
Sunny Singh commented on his persona, saying, “Transforming into Maan Arora was a wonderful experience. It’s a role I’ve never played before, and the character will stay with me forever. I can’t wait for audiences to see me portray this character, and I hope they enjoy the picture as much as I do. Manjot shared his perspective, saying, “Honey Paaji is the friend everyone wishes they had, thus I always felt really special on set as well! Driving Paro across Punjab was an unforgettable experience, and I believe the viewers will share that exhilaration when they see the film.
“Jain is very cautious and well-behaved. He is the calming influence in the midst of chaos. In summary, he is typically a party pooper. I am overjoyed that audiences all across the world will be able to enjoy the chaos we are presenting to them with Wild Wild Punjab,” Jassie Gill added.
Patralekhaa, who plays Radha, also has ideas about her character, saying, “Radha is a character with layers—quiet on the surface but adventurous at heart.” The film nicely conveys the spirit of camaraderie and adventure. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of such an incredible ensemble and experience.”
On her experience playing Meera in the film, Ishita Raj said, “Meera’s free-spirited and multifaceted temperament was fascinating to explore. She is a patakha (firebrand) at heart, and her trip lends a distinct taste to the picture. Working on Wild Wild Punjab was a fantastic experience, and I am excited for fans to join us on this hilarious journey.”
One of the followers wrote, “Finally Varun Sharma is coming back on the big screen,” Another added, “Come on, we want more and more of this wacky humour from Bollywood, always a favourite. “Our own Choocha and Laali.” Another comment stated, “Pulkit Samrat ko bhi daal do.” “Fukrey 4 is ready.”
