MediaTek has started the teasing of the world’s first 4nm Smartphone chipset. It has been rumoured that the designer of the chipset has been lined up with many clients. Recently, MediaTek has geared up with its latest flagship chipset with the Dimensity 2000. It has been found that the company’s SoCs just like Dimensity 1200 have been used mostly on sub-premium smartphones.
The tipster from Digital Chat Station, this Dimensity 2000 will be used on the slew of the flagship smartphones from next year. According to the leaker, this MediaTek chipset will be found the way to flagships that will be made by OPPO and Vivo. It is assumed that Xiaomi and Honor also will equip some of their premium mobiles with the Dimensity 2000.
It seems that the MediaTek Dimensity 2000 looks to be the topmost next-gen Android chipset. We should give a big thanks for the combination of TSMC’s excellent t 4nm node and ARM’s new architecture. It is expected that Qualcomm will reveal its Snapdragon 888 chipset this December. It is expected that the chipset will begin to power most Android flagships from 2022, and it will start from galaxy S22.
MediaTek Dimensity 2000:
It is reported that the Dimensity 2000 is a completely unique and different kind of device to feature such identical configuration but the cluster of the three large cores has been tipped to be clocked at 2.85GHz, and four small cores at 1.85GHz, slightly than the Snapdragon 888’s 2.5GHz, and 1.79GHz respectively.
We will like to inform you that the chipset will be paired up with Mali G710 MC10 GPU for graphics. As the chipset will follow the process of TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing that indicates such strong and also the solid performance in line with the Snapdragon flagship SoCs.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 898:
This Snapdragon 898 will be equipped with the Octa-core CPU that has comprised of cortex-X3 that is based on the main core 2 clocked at 3.0GHz along 3x Cortex-A710 that is based on the performance cores and running at 2.5GHz.
It is a very energy-efficient Cortex-A510 that is based on cores that will be clocked at 1.79Hz. In this, the chipset will be paired with the Adreno 730 GPU for taking of graphic workloads. Now we have to wait to see for the improvements to bring over the Adreno 660.
