Nostalgia alert! If you grew up humming Uncha Lamba Kad in school corridors, get ready to relive it all over again. In an exclusive development, the makers of Welcome to the Jungle — the highly anticipated third installment of Bollywood’s most beloved comedy franchise — are bringing back not one but two iconic tracks from the original 2007 blockbuster for their June 26, 2026 release.

The Nostalgia Bomb: Two Iconic Songs Return
According to sources, the team has decided to bring back the chartbuster tracks Uncha Lamba Kad and the iconic Welcome title song in the upcoming film. The idea is to recreate the fun and nostalgia associated with the first Welcome and reinvent them for the new generation while retaining the original vibe.
That’s a smart move — and honestly, a crowd-pleasing one. Anyone who watched the original Welcome knows these songs aren’t just music; they’re a mood, a memory, and a cultural moment all rolled into one.
Welcome to the Jungle will feature a total of 4–5 songs — two recreated tracks from the original film and the rest completely original numbers composed specially for the jungle adventure comedy. The music album is expected to be one of the film’s major highlights.
The Most Stacked Ensemble Cast in Recent Bollywood History
This isn’t just a big film — it’s practically a Bollywood reunion. The film boasts one of the biggest ensemble casts in recent times, with over 20 actors, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, Jackie Shroff, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani, among others.
Getting all these names in one frame is a feat in itself — and audiences are here for every second of the madness.
Promotions Kick Off Soon
The makers are planning to kickstart the promotional campaign from next week. With nostalgia, comedy, music, and a massive star cast coming together, the team is planning an extensive marketing campaign. Though much delayed, Welcome to the Jungle promises full-on madness and entertainment.
The Welcome franchise has always been beloved for its over-the-top comedy and ensemble chaos — and the third chapter looks set to honour that legacy while reaching a whole new generation of fans.
