Watch Dogs: Legion Online Multiplayer Mode has been delayed on PC due to bugs

An announcement came from Ubisoft that the multiplayer mode of Watch Dogs: Legion has been delayed for an unspecified time on PC. Watch Dogs: Legion online going live on March 9. “We’ve identified an issue in the PC version that can cause the game to crash for players with certain GPUs,” the development team said in a statement on Twitter. “In the meantime,” the statement continues, “we’ve made the decision to wait to launch the PC version until this is fixed. We will communicate the new launch date as soon as possible.”

Ubisoft also informed that while the console version is releasing on March 9, it is going to come without the Tactical Op mode. This mode is facing some problems with crashes, now they are postponing it until March 23. This announcement is made just after the announcement that the game mode was releasing in March.

Ubisoft stated, “We’ve identified an issue in the PC version that can cause the game to crash for players with certain GPUs. The team is working on fixing the issue as quickly as possible. And in the meantime, we’ve made the decision to wait to launch the PC version until this is fixed. We will communicate the new launch date as soon as possible.”

“We have also identified an issue that can cause the game to crash during the Tactical Op. Therefore we have made the decision to launch it on Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia on March 23. PlayStation 4/ 5 will have limited in-game text chat at launch, and we are working on a fix for this, which will be coming on March 23 as well. We are committed to delivering the best experience to all players and are working diligently to address the issues outlined above. We appreciate your patience and understanding.”

This delay could make the Watch Dogs: Legion be a less ideal experience for the players at the launch. So, let’s see, how long the PC players have to wait to play Watch Dogs: Legion with their friends in multiplayer mode.
