Ubisoft’s upcoming game Watch Dogs Legion will be featuring beekeepers in London city who can summon a swarm of bees to fight against evil and tyranny.
Two days earlier on the Future Games Show, one of the narrators of the show named Hudson narrated an entire beekeeper recruitment mission. The video shows that the beekeeper is proposed recruitment by another player. In the ensuing negotiation, the beekeeper puts a condition that if the player destroys research data(related to nano bees, presumably) stolen by military contractor Albion then they’ll join DedSec.
Strangely, none of the two characters speaks anything regarding the simply ludicrous futuristic neon blue holographic beekeeping veil the beekeeper is wearing.
The recruitment mission is comprised of two parts. In the first part, an Albion employee is hacked via a security camera for getting the information and location of the lab holding the stolen data. And after the character switch, the second part is played by a hooligan character to infiltrate the lab using stealth and after that, the player then punches and headbutted security guards into submission.
There is also a small reveal made by Hudson that: if you don’t draw guns on your enemies, they won’t draw guns on you. If you cling to melee attacks, so will your opponents. “Escalation is at your discretion, then, not the enemy characters”. The above hint will benefit players who are interested in a non-lethal playthrough.
It is unfortunate that we didn’t get the nano bee swarm in action but we are hoping to see in the near future. Watch Dogs: Legion release date is set for 29 October 2020 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, Microsoft Windows.
