Vivo Y300c Launched in China With 6,500mAh Battery, Price From ₹16,700

Vivo has announced a new Y-series smartphone in China with the launch of the Vivo Y300c. The new model adds to the current lineup of Y300-series phones such as the Y300 GT, Y300 Pro+, and Y300t. It comes with a massive 6,500mAh battery, Android 15 OS, a 50MP main camera, and has the ability to go up to 512GB storage.

The phone features a one-off squircle-style camera module, an in-display fingerprint sensor, strengthened diamond shield glass for extra toughness, and a host of AI features. There is no word on the India availability of the Vivo Y300c as of now.

Vivo Y300c Launched in China With 6,500mAh Battery, 50MP Camera, Android 15, Price From ₹16,700

The Y300c is priced in China starting at CNY 1,399 (approximately ₹16,700) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 1,599 (around ₹19,100). The handset is available in three colour options: Star Diamond Black, Pine, and Rui Xue White. Sales have already commenced in China through Vivo’s official website.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo Y300c features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,392×1,080 pixels resolution, 94.21 percent screen-to-body ratio, and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness, and supports a P3 colour gamut.

The processor that fuels the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, along with Mali-G57 hardware. The chipset integrates HyperEngine gaming technology that can deliver up to 11% better power efficiency and up to 13% better FPS in gaming scenarios.

The phone runs on Android 15 with Vivo’s custom OriginOS 5 skin and comes with a host of AI-centric features, including Magic Eraser, Circle to Search, and AI Homework. It comes in 12GB of RAM and with 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The rear houses a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens, while the camera on the front is 8MP. Night Scene, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Micro Film, and Motion Photo are the scene select options for taking photos. The Vivo Y300c is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Other features include an in-display fingerprint reader, SGS low crew light certification, Hi-Res audio, 600 percent Super Volume, and 3D panoramic audio.
