Vivo Y300 5G India Launch Date Set for November 21; Design and Colours Out

This latest iteration will be a successor to the Vivo Y200 launched in 2023 and is presumably a rebadged variant of the Vivo V40 Lite unveiled a few weeks ago in select worldwide regions. According to the first look of the Vivo Y300, it seems that this phone has a vertical dual rear camera similar to the camera design we have seen on the Vivo V40 Lite. It features a 50MP primary camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter coupled with LED flash.

The Vivo Y300 5G would also be identical in specs to the V40 Lite. The V40 Lite offers up to a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB of onboard storage; however, it is unclear what configurations are available or which are for specific models. There’s also a 32MP front-facing camera and it comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.

In terms of pricing, the Vivo V40 Lite 5G was introduced in Indonesia with a starting price of IDR 4,299,000 (approximately Rs. 23,700) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. While the exact pricing of the Vivo Y300 5G in India remains unclear, the upcoming launch will likely provide more details on the device’s availability and cost. Given the similarities in design and specifications, the Vivo Y300 5G is expected to offer similar features when it officially launches in India next week.
