Vivo is apparently prepping up for quite a few new smartphones, including a 5G variant, the Vivo Y29 4G, along with the Vivo Y04 that have been recently sighted in CQC certifications. As per the listing, the Vivo Y29 4G with the model number V2434 supports multiple charging speeds of 5V/2A, 9V/2A, and 11V/4A, which indicates that it could arrive with up to 44W wired fast charging support. On the other hand, the Vivo Y04 (model number V2430) has a 5V/3A charging ability, so it is most likely going to offer 15W wired charging.

Vivo Y29 4G and Y04 Clear CQC Certification; V50 Series Spotted on BIS & NBTC

Vivo’s V50 series is also in the works, along with Y29 and Y04 models. The Vivo V50e and Vivo V50 have been listed on various international certification websites. According to the BIS certification, the Vivo device is believed to have the V2428 model number, suggesting an imminent launch in India. Most recently, the same model number was also discovered in the IMEI database, which corroborates that it is to be marketed as the Vivo V50e. The BIS certification, however, did not detail any more specific information on the device.

Another Vivo smartphone with model number V2427, also made its way to Thailand’s NBTC certification. As a result, we know that the device will launch as Vivo V50. This also tells us that the device will have GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR connectivity support but we haven’t received many details about the phone’s specs.

Both the Vivo V50e and V50 have also been spotted on the EEC certification, signaling their imminent launch in global markets. It is believed that the Vivo V50 may be a rebranded version of the Vivo S20, which launched in China in November 2024. The Vivo S20 featured a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP primary camera, and a 6,500mAh battery, among other features. This suggests that the Vivo V50 series may share similar features.
