Vivo has added another Y-series smartphone to its bucket. Vivo recently unveiled the Y22s smartphone. Now the latest Vivo Y22 is official in Indonesia and it packs everything we expect from a mid-range offering.
The Vivo Y22 has the same design as the Y22s but it comes with different specs which of course expected. Let’s have a look of it’s detailed specs and features.
Vivo Y22 Specifications
Vivo Y22 comes with a 6.55-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and the standard 60Hz refresh rate. The phone has 530 nits peak brightness. Vivo used Glass Plastic with Crystalline Matte on the rear of the phone. The smartphone has IP5X dust-proof rating and an IPX4 water splashproof rating.
Under the hood, an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Helio G85 powers the device. The chipset is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In addition, it supports up to 2 GB of extended RAM and a MicroSD card slot as well.
At the rear, the phone comes with a dual camera. The dual camera is 50-megapixels primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixels macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it comes with an 8-megapixels selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The camera comes with night mode, portrait mode, bokeh, macro, panorama, time-lapse, and eye autofocus support.
Moreover, the company ships the device with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W of charging. The other notable features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, face unlock, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security.
It comes in Summer Cyan, Metaverse Green, and Starlit Blue colors. The price of the Y22 in Indonesia is Rp 2,399,000 ($160) for the 4GB + 64GB storage option.
