Vivo has launched another Y-series smartphone in Thailand and Singapore, named Vivo Y12A. This phone is said to be the rebadged version of the Y12s 2021 launched in Vietnam last month. So, without wasting much time, let’s get into the specifications and pricing of this newly launched device.
The Vivo Y12A is a budget smartphone from Vivo which runs on Android 11 OS and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset. Coming to the display, this phone offers a 6.51-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) IPS LCD teardrop notch panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. This phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The SD 439 SoC of this phone is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via an external microSD card). Coming to the camera section, this phone offers a dual rear camera setup supported by an LED flash that includes a 13MP primary sensor along with a 2MP auxiliary lens. For selfies, this phone has an 8MP selfie snapper at the front.
The Vivo Y12A is fueled up by a 5,000mAh battery supported by 10W of charging and 5W of reverse charging. In terms of connectivity, this phone has the support for dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack (no 5G). This phone is available in two different color variants: Green and Blue.
As per the pricing and availability, the Vivo Y12A is available in Thailand at a price tag of 4,499 Baht (~$143).
