Jia Jingdong, Vivo’s Vice President and General Manager of Product Strategy, tweeted a live image of the upcoming Vivo X90S flagship phone. The X90s, like other X-series phones from the company, is supposed to provide an excellent photography experience. Jingdong took to Weibo today to share camera samples from the device.
According to Jingdong, previous X-series phones featured two main colour expressions: Vivo’s bright colours and Zeiss’ natural colours. Vivo’s vibrant colours attempted to capture the beauty that exists beyond what the eyes can see, whereas Zeiss concentrated on showing the world in its true form with excellent definition and sharpness.
According to reports, the Vivo X90s will be equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset and would support Wi-Fi 7.
Now, a new feature dubbed “vivo texture colour,” inspired by the old film camera era, will allow users to create personalised masterpieces with rich colours and capture everyday scenes with human emotions. Jingdong shared the Vivo X90S camera samples below to demonstrate the outcomes of the new colour expression. He also stated that the Vivo X90s will be available in a new colour called “Qingyang,” which is simply a blue variant.
The rest of its specifications are believed to be the same as those of the Vivo X90, which was introduced in November of last year.
As a result, the Vivo X90s is believed to have a triple camera unit with 50-megapixel (primary) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) resolution and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It will be powered by the Android 13 operating system based on OriginOS 3.0.
The X90S will be equipped with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will have a 4,810mAh battery and 100W charging capability. It will have a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display. It will have a 1260 x 2800 pixel Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X90s will be unveiled in China on June 26 at 2:30 p.m. (local time).
