Vivo is soon going to launch the new Vivo X100 series in China which has been widely rumored to be called the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro. The Upcoming Vivo X200 Pro, Vivo X200
Vivo has reportedly started sending invites for its upcoming event in the hardware segment, GSMArena reports. Although not much can be inferred from the ‘save the date’ invite, it is widely expected that Vivo will be launching its upper mid-range and premium camera-centric flagships during the launch. The event is scheduled to take place in Beijing, China, though no additional details were shared.
Over the past few months, multiple leaks and rumors about the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro have surfaced. The lower-end variant, in fact, was leaked once with a live image but that was not on the Vivo X200 handset. The main takeaway from Vivo’s new design is the flat display, flat sides, and rear panel that look a lot like an iPhone but to an extent applies some Android ideology as well. There is still the iconic Vivo circular camera module — although it’s pretty straight from this angle — but now, its flat back makes the shooter look like a bloat.
The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are expected to be running on MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The X200 Pro is suggested to feature a 6.75-inch flat screen with slightly curved edges and a resolution of 1.5K. It will also get a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint reader and has a large 6,000 mAh battery coupled with another additional surprise, the powerful 200-megapixel telephoto camera.
The Vivo X200 will also sport the Dimensity 9400 chip but with a smaller 6.3-inch flat display at the same resolution. Its camera setup includes a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and macro capabilities. A 5,500mAh – 5,600mAh battery will power this model, slightly smaller than its Pro counterpart.
