Vivo has redesigned its X100 and X100 Pro models for the mid-season, renaming them as the Vivo X100s and the Vivo X100s Pro. Along with a few other improvements, these are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powers the company’s flagship Vivo X100 Ultra, which was also announced at this event.

Vivo X100 Ultra specifications

With a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Dolby Vision, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits, the 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen comes with the Vivo X100 Ultra. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers the gadget.

Along with 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, it comes with up to 16GB of RAM. On top of this hardware, Vivo has installed OriginOS 4, an Android 14-based OS. An 80W wired and 30W wireless charging capable 5,500mah battery is included.

The rear camera arrangement consists of three cameras: 50MP (gimbal OIS), 200MP (1/1.4-inch, ISOCELL HP9, 3.7x optical zoom), and 50MP (ultrawide). The 200MP telephoto sensor was co-developed by Vivo and Samsung. With a telephoto sensor ratio of 1/1.4′′, it is the biggest smartphone camera ever.

Vivo X100s, X100s Pro specifications

Vivo added the X100 Ultra to their lineup along with two other versions, the X100s and X100s Pro. These phones are the first to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC.

The 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED screens of the Vivo X100s and X100s Pro have a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels and 10-bit colors that cover 100% of DCI-P3. These displays use high-frequency PWM dimming at 2,160 Hz to achieve a brightness of 3,000 nits.

Design-wise, the X100s and X100s Pro are a tad thicker and weigh 224g and 8.91mm, respectively. This does, however, enable the X100s Pro to have a bigger battery capacity of 5,400mAh, whilst the X100s model has a battery capacity of 5,100mAh. Both 50W wireless and 100W wired charging are supported.

The Vivo X100s has a larger battery capacity, although it is still thinner—at 7.8mm—than the X100 (8.5mm) and the X100s Pro.

With a huge 1/0.98-inch primary sensor (IMX989) with an f/1.75 lens and OIS, the vivo X100s Pro is outfitted with the vivo V3 imaging chip. A 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope camera with floating lens OIS design are also included.
