Notably, the Vivo X100 Pro has been spotted on China’s 3C listing, shedding light on its fast charging capabilities. Specifically, the Vivo X100 Pro will support 120W fast charging, aligning with its predecessor, the Vivo X90 Pro, and indicating 5G network compatibility.
The Upcoming Vivo X100 Series
Hardware details for the Vivo X100 series have been a subject of speculation. According to DigitalChatStation, the Vivo X100 Pro is expected to feature a curved display on the front and boast a 5,100mAh battery capacity.
The standard Vivo X100 is rumored to be available in two variants. The first variant may sport a curved display, a 5,400mAh battery, and support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The second variant could feature a flat OLED 1.5K display, 120W charging, and a slightly smaller 5,100mAh battery. However, it’s worth noting that DigitalChatStation deleted the post on Weibo, raising doubts about the accuracy of these hardware specifications.
Speculative specifications for the Vivo X100 series include an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, curved edges, and a punch-hole cutout. The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro might be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the Pro+ version may utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. These phones are expected to ship with Android 14-based Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box and might come with an independent V3 ISP.
In the camera department, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is anticipated to feature a 50MP ultra-wide rear camera and a 200MP telephoto lens, while the Vivo X100 Pro may incorporate a 64MP 100mm periscope lens. The Vivo X100 series is also set to introduce a custom Sony LYT800 sensor tailored to Vivo’s specifications. Additionally, there are rumors of satellite communication features similar to iPhones being part of the series.
